Taking Care of Your Top Load

Clean clothes are a necessity for a busy family these days, and to ensure that goal is met every time it is just as important to have a clean washing machine. Crosley Home Products has put together a step-by-step guide to taking proper care of your top load machine.
 
1.Clean the Tub
First, make sure the tub is empty from your last cycle. Throw in a washing machine cleaning tablet (we prefer Affresh!) Close the door and select the normal washing cycle. For extra cleaning, run an additional rinse and spin cycle to ensure all excess cleaning detergent has been removed. Leave the door open to completely dry – this will help with odors in the future!
2.Clean out your Dispensers
Pull out all drawers and compartments that are removable. Wipe down with a damp cloth and towel dry. In some cases, an all-purpose cleaner may be necessary.
3.Clean the Lid
Use a damp cloth to wipe down the door, lid and around the seals. Make sure to get the interior of the door also!
4.Wipe down the Outside
Use a damp cloth and mild soap cleaners to wipe down any debris, lint or detergent spills from the exterior of your machine.
